Malaysian King of Pop charged with intimidating wife

Malaysia very own King of Pop Jamal Abdillah, 47, was charged with criminal intimidation charges against his wife yesterday at magistrate’s court

Jamal Abdillah, whose goes by his real name Jamal Ubaidillah Ali in court, pleaded not guilty

He was charge for allegedly sending his wife Fatimatuzahra Samat, 25, a threatening SMS saying “tunggu dan lihat apa akan terjadi” which means “wait and see what will happen” on April last year

Jamal was unrepresented and freed on a RM$2000 bail by Magistrate Suriyanilakma Abd Kadir and the next hearing is set on June 12th

Jamal also faced another summons where he caused hurt to his wife, when he punched her on the cheek on the day he sent the SMS

But this charge was dropped when his wife decided to settle the matter out of court

His wife now intends to withdraw her complaint

The couple has 1 year old son, Ahmad Zaki Yamani
