Bollywood’s popular Munnabhai series to have its third movie

The success of the Munnabhai series, Munnabhai M.B.B.S. (2003) and Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), has led to another series, the third of its installment to debut next year.

To be called “Munnabhai Chale Amerika”, the film produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra will once again be directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Funnyman Arshad Warsi will also reprise his role as the comedic sidekick, while the protagonist role is still uncertain if Sanjay Dutt will return.

The Bollywood actor is now out on bail, after being convicted for illegal possession of arms in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts.

But sources says the script is all ready, and shooting will start next year.
