Former Governor Eliot Spitzer paid $80,000 for sex services

New reports have revealed that former Governer Eliot Spitzer met regularly with prostitutes in several cities for more than a year before his resignation.

However, prosecutors have said Spitzer did not use campaign or government funds for those meetings.

It is believe Spitzer paid up to $80,000 for prostitutes over a period of several years while he was Attorney General, and later as Governor.

Spitzer will not be charged over the scandal, as prosecutors found no evidence of misuse of public funds.
