Larry Birkhead, who is the father to Anna Nicole Smith's baby
Larry Birkhead testified that he told her internist, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, in a 2005, about his concerns that the model was addicted to painkillers two years before she died from an overdose of prescription medication.
Anna Nicole Smith died at age 39, apparently as a result of an overdose of prescription drugs.
It was reported that 8 of the 11 drugs in Smith’s system, including the chloral hydrate, were prescribed to Howard K. Stern, not Smith. Additionally, two of the prescriptions were written for Alex Katz and one was written for Smith’s friend and psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevitz.
Dr. Perper acknowledged that all 11 prescriptions were written by Dr. Eroshevitz herself.
Larry E. Birkhead (born 22 January 1973) was a partner of Anna Nicole Smith and the father of her daughter, Dannielynn. He was in a custody battle for his daughter until DNA results proved his paternity.
