On October 29, 2009, Hopper’s manager reported that Hopper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is undergoing treatment and movie plans have been canceled.
On September 30, 2009, news media reported that actor Dennis Hopper has been rushed to a New York hospital for an unspecified condition, according to a report from Entertainment Tonight.
Hopper, 73, was reportedly brought into an unidentified Manhattan hospital by an ambulance Monday wearing an oxygen mask and “with numerous tubes visible.”
On October 2, 2009, he was discharged, after receiving treatment for dehydration.
