Kathy Griffin surprise winners at Creative Arts Primetime Emmys

Griffin won her first every Emmy for her reality series ‘Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List’ on Saturday night in Los Angeles.

Her acceptance speech stirred up controversy, saying that “a lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus.”

She’s a American stand-up comedian and actress and has been a voice actor and a red carpet commentator.

Griffin is a self-proclaimed “D-list celebrity.”
