The curse of the Batman: Dark Knight?

Morgan Freeman, the Oscar-winning 71-year-old Dark Knight star was airlifted to the Memphis’s Regional Medical Center after being injured in a car accident near his Mississippi home

Freeman is currently in critical condition and extent of his injuries is still unclear

The accident happened around midnight in the Mississippi Delta, outside Charleston where it is said the car “flipped several times” after leaving the road before resting onto a ditch

Morgan Freeman had a passenger with him, a woman named Demaris Meyer and both were wearing seatbelts as stated by the Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman and they added that there was no alcohol or either drugs were involved.

Investigation is still underway
