Will Smith has been named the most powerful actor in the industry, according to an annual list by Newsweek magazine.

Smith was chosen because of his numerous box office successes and his ability to take in diverse genres.

Johnny Depp is at second place on the list, followed by Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise.
