The late John Lennon was quoted as “The Beatles are more popular than Jesus” in 1966, and the Vatican supporters didn’t take it well.
That statement infuriated Christians all over and it led to many burning Beatles albums. Whoa sounds like a witch-hunt to me.
It took them 42 years to officially make a statement and forgive the Brit legend musician, in their Vatican’s newspaper.
