Fan paid $63,500 for a dinner with Sarah Palin

An online auction of a dinner with Sarah Palin saw a woman from Alabama winning with a $63,500 bid.

Palin resigned as Governor of Alaska on July 26, 2009, with a year and a half remaining in her four-year term. Since the defeat of the Republican ticket in the 2008 election, there has been speculation that she may run for president in the 2012 election.
