We all love the blockbuster movie surprise hit ‘Iron Man” earlier this year and it seems that Marvel Comics, owner of Iron Man character will have his superhero ways halted to an abrupt end
No he won’t die, but it seems the writer of the comic wants to end the career of Tony Stark, the man who is Iron Man
This comic release which will debut and his the stands in November, will be published in conjunction with the Iron Man movie’s DVD release, where the comic features an aging 70 year old Tony Starks who finally ‘retires’

Back in 2000, David Michelinie and Layton pitched this concept of the ‘last Iron Man story ever told.”
After the span of almost a decade and several ‘false starts’, this project has finally reached fruition.
Decades in the future, a 70+ Tony Stark is overseeing his ultimate project of his lauded career—the completion of Earth’s first commercial space elevator, whose inauguration will change the world’s economy and the future of space exploration forever. However, not everyone is looking forward to this project’s launch with the same enthusiasm as the head of Stark Universal. Sinister forces are at work, behind-the-scenes, to insure that Stark’s pinnacle scientific achievement ends in disaster.
Tentatively scheduled to be published this November, in conjunction with the Iron Man movie’s DVD release, this story was conceived and plotted by David Michelinie and Bob, scripted by David, pencilled by Valiant alum Bernard (Second Life of Dr. Mirage) Chang and inked by Bob.
